Justin has been great going to bed in his crib. When it's time, he'll get his special elephant and his binky; walk up the stairs and stand by his crib. We thought we would try his big boy bed, Kaden has been waiting for this day! It started off great.
The boys read stories and said goodnight....
We sat downstairs; waited and listened. After 30 minutes we decided he was probably asleep and took Kaden up to his bed. As we opened the door Justin came running to us. He had been up playing (in the complete dark) as quiet as a mouse! Silly boy. We tried to lay with him, but he refused to sleep...so back to the crib he went! He's only 17 months--we'll try again in a month or two.

That's funny! What a silly kid, he just had his heart set on playing. Good luck when you try it again!
Thats funny. You wonder how they play in the dark. We recently moved aaby to a big bed and on several occasions we have thought she was asleep only to walk in and find her playing with her babies. But what a good boy, so young and not screaming.
